The Postharvest Biology and Technology Journal has published a comparative study on colorimeter and different portable food-scanners for non-destructive prediction of lycopene content in tomato fruit.

The research has been carried out by the Weihenstephan-Triesdorf University in Germany, STEP Systems GmbH supported the project with measuring technologies.
