Optimistic atmosphere at FlowersExpo

In September, the FlowersExpo 2017 took place in the Russian capital Moscow. It is the largest plant trade fair in Russia, providing a good overview of the green business in Russia.

The Russian market has definitively recovered from the earlier recession after the ruble valuation and enjoys new reinvestments. Now it is important that the ruble course remains stable and predictable.

STEP Systems was represented at the joint booth with the German Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture (BMEL) by Harald Braungardt (CEO), Anastasia Konarek and our most important Russian trading partner “COMPAS Ltd”.

Special highlights were the gas analyzers (ethylene, etc.) of the companies EMS (MacView) and Felix Instruments. The instruments were presented for the first time on the Russian market and received a very positive response from the Russian producers of ornamental plants and vegetables.
