Digital Soil Moisture and Temperature Meter

With these patented lightweight meters, soil moisture and temperature can be monitored effectively - anywhere and at anytime. Each meter is highly accurate, displays results within seconds, may be used in a variety of soils, and is unaffected by temperature, pH, dissolved salts, or metallic ions. This is possible because of the sophisticated measuring principle: a shielded, volumetric capacity measurement at high frequency.

These new instruments retain the rugged cast aluminum, and aircraft grade stainless steel construction. In addition they offer a new universal, completely encapsulated moisture and temperature sensor, which is made to withstand many long years of probing into hard soil without degradation. The instrument also features newly designed electronic circuits to assure long term calibration stability and reliability.

To use, merely insert the probe into a reasonably soft, moist area and

press the appropriate test button. Results appear quickly so that multiple tests can rapidly be performed at various depths and locations. Simply wipe off the probe after each test and continue measuring on further spots.

The only difference between model T-300 and M-300 is the integrated temperature sensor in model T-300, the result being displayed digitally in °C or optionally in °Fahrenheit.
